In the first T20I, Nepal Women batted first and they were bowled out for a small total of 50 on board. Kajal Shrestha and Sita Rana Magar lost their wickets early on. The middle order also struggled a lot excluding Samjhana Khadka who tried to stretch the innings with a knock of 13 runs in 25 balls before she ran herself out. Nepal Women were eventually bowled out for 50 in the 17th over.
During the chase, Malaysia Women couldn’t get off to an ideal start. They lost the skipper Winifred Duraisingham, Christina Baret and Mas Elysa early on in the innings.
